Цель. Предложить меры для борьбы с овертуризмом и его негативными последствиями на глобальном уровне и на уровне Сочинской дестинации.
Задачи. Исследовать процессы и риски, связанные с овертуризмом (aнгл. overtourism); использовать при исследовании термин «овертуризм» для описания негативных последствий массового туризма, которые, как правило, связаны со взрывным ростом популярности определенных мест в мире, привлекающих к себе все больше внимания и со стороны рядовых туристов, и со стороны пользователей социальных сетей; практическую часть исследования провести на примере курортного города Сочи.
Методология. В настоящей статье с помощью анализа, системного подхода и статистических методов исследован международный и отечественный опыт нивелирования рисков овертуризма. Предложены меры для борьбы с овертуризмом и его негативными последствиями, как на глобальном уровне, так и на уровне Сочинской дестинации.
Результаты. При позитивной в целом ситуации в Сочинской дестинации с признаками овертуризма прослеживается формирование его начальных проявлений, что требует разработки профилактических мероприятий. В этом случае рекомендуется учитывать информацию Ассоциации рестораторов и отельеров HOTREC, предлагаемую для решения проблем овертуризма в странах Европы.
Выводы. В случае возникновения признаков овертуризма, обнаруженных с помощью различных методов оценки, региональным туристским администрациям следует рекомендовать разработку соответствующих стратегий предотвращения его проявления. Можно предположить, что такие стратегии должны формироваться в зависимости от стадий жизненного цикла дестинации.
Aim. To propose measures to combat overtourism and its negative consequences at the global level and at the level of Sochi Destination.
Tasks. To study the processes and risks associated with overtourism; to use the term “overtourism” to describe the negative consequences of mass tourism, which, as a rule, are associated with the explosive growth of popularity of certain places in the world, attracting more and more attention from both ordinary tourists and social network users; to conduct the practical part of the study on the example of the resort city of Sochi.
Methods. In this article the international and domestic experience of levelling the risks of overtourism is investigated with the help of analysis, system approach and statistical methods. Measures to combat overtourism and its negative consequences both at the global level and at the level of Sochi destination are proposed.
Results. With the overall positive situation in the Sochi destination with signs of overtourism, the formation of its initial manifestations can be traced, which requires the development of preventive measures. In this case it is recommended to take into account the information of the Association of restaurateurs and hoteliers HOTREC, proposed to solve the problems of overtourism in European countries.
Conclusions. In the case of signs of overtourism detected by different assessment methods, regional tourism administrations should be advised to develop appropriate prevention strategies. It can be assumed that such strategies should be formed depending on the stages of the life cycle of the destination.
